This wall hanging is a combination of macrame and weaving. The macrame is 100% cotton and the diamond weaving in the centre is made from vintage and modern wool, backed with 100% wool felt.
It is inspired by my interest in traditional craft, with a desire to contrast it with modern shapes and angles. The weaving is designed by me and is inspired by a pattern used in traditional folk art designs.
41cm wide x 49cm from the top of the wooden dowel to the bottom of the cotton fringing.
