This is a 50cm circular weaving made from hand dyed cotton. I dip dye the cotton in stages, creating a deeper colour at the edges. This is then dried and cut into strips to create the weaving. It is an absolutely unique piece of hand dyed cotton, which means that this is a unique piece of artwork. The subtlety of shade variation works well with the concentric circles of the hoop. This weaving would look stunning on it’s own or complimented by a dark wall, or some smaller pieces.
