This is a beautiful all silk circular wall hanging. It is made from chiffon silk (white) and heavier recycled sari-silk (blue). The two different silks compliment each other perfectly.
30cm in diameter, this weaving is hand made and the hoop is wrapped in chiffon silk.
I use different weaving techniques to create texture in the silk.
This piece is inspired by living at the coast.
