Happy December!

Hello lovely people,

I cannot believe we are in December. This year both seems to have gone on forever and flown by in a flash.

I have been busy this year, creating on several different projects.

This month I am working on Kind Commissions for Subject Matter Art. I am available to create circular weavings made from hand painted cotton. I am painting the cotton using colours and shapes informed by a story or moment described by the customer. I have made two of these so far and I absolutely love the process and how special it is to make artwork which is so personal for the client. I can’t wait to make more of these.

I am also working on a project about what Hope means/has meant to people in 2020. It will be a body of work in weavings, collage and painted pieces.

I am releasing a new collection of weavings that I have created in isolation this year. It is based on the theme ‘This year was not like other years’. I made the weavings while shielding at home as we live with a vulnerable family member.

I can’t wait to share what I have been working on.
